Choose an author that you like from the list above. If you wish to read books by authors that are not listed above, please inform and get approval from your EL Teacher. pwn

Find people in the class who like the same author and form a reading circle of four to five.
or get -oh never mind.

Each member of the group is to read one title by this author.
Only two members are allowed to read the same title.

Group Assignment (Class Presentation)
Your group will play the role of the author’s publisher. You are to promote the author and his books to the class in a creative manner .eg. through a review brochure, leaflet, or presenting a video clip etc. Put your brains together and let your creativity and imagination run wild.
Your objective is to persuade the class why the author you have chosen is the best by giving convincing reasons.
In your presentation, you must include background information about the author as an introduction.

Individual Assignment ( Written Review)
You are to write a review of the book you read. This includes:
A summary of the story ( in your own words)
The most and/or least interesting part of the book.
A short paragraph of 100 words explaining in your own words your opinion of the book as a whole.

Handing in: Tuesday, 23 June to your EL teacher.

Marks awarded will be based on the assessment of BOTH your individual and group assignments. It will be part of your CA, no matter how small that part may be.
